One becomes Two!

When we met with the social worker for our interview they had asked if we would consider taking a sibling as well and we said we would. Well the call came, they had decided they were going for Crown Wardship for the other siblings as well and wanted to know if we would consider taking Kai's brother. He was 13 months when we got he phone call and Kai was just over a month old. Greg and I discussed it and went to meet the little gaffer.

This picture was taken the day we met him for the first time. Again, I don't want to put his full name here, but we call him CJ. CJ was very cute, he didn't say much when we first met him, but I thought how can I not take him too? To be able to give the boys a chance to grow up together, what greater gift could I give them? We decided that we would indeed also adopt CJ but it was agreed that he would stay with his foster family for a few more months so that I could get use to having Kai.

During the time that CJ was living with his foster family, we had weekend visits, play dates, etc. He slept over and he slowly became a part of our family. Friday, August 12th, CJ moved in. He was 21 months and Kai was just 8 months old!
