The day CJ moved in with us forever......
I mentioned that the social worker asked us if we would consider taking one of the other siblings.....we did take one other siblings. But that left more siblings that were being adopted by other families. We had a big family get together before the adoption was finalized and met the other adoptive families.
We talk to the boys about their other siblings, and they pray for their brothers and sisters each night when we say our bedtime prayers. The boys have two full brothers and four half siblings. We did have play dates a couple times of year with their two full brothers. One brother has since moved out of the province, but we hope to maintain contact with the brother that still lives here.
We are very open with the boys about the fact that they are adopted and each year on the date that our adoption was finalized (the day the Judge signed the papers in Court), we take the boys away for the weekend and celebrate adoption day!
We want them to know that we chose them to be in our family and that we couldn't love them anymore than if they were our own flesh and blood. I've often said to Greg as much as we wanted to have our own children, if we had had our own children, we wouldn't have had these two boys and I can't imagine life without them!

I have really loved reading this family history. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. God knew these two boys couldn't have better parents than you guys. What a great family!
