We have had a record snowfall and snowstorm that has been occurring since Sunday afternoon. We had received over 70cms of snow by Monday night and today (Tuesday) we received over 30cms more. The city has come to a standstill, schools have been closed, city buses pulled off the roads, so of course we have all been "stranded" at home.
I have to work however, because as long as I have power I have to work, even if everyone else is getting a snow day. Trying to keep the boys (well mostly Kai) occupied while I'm trying to work is not an easy feat!! Greg also has had to work because he supports people in a group home and 24 hour care is required, so he has had to trek out at midnight (at least traffic has been light)! :-)
Today (almost the 3rd full day at home) Kai spent quite a bit of time with Nana. They went out this morning and 'played' for a bit in the snow. This afternoon, I opened a Christmas present that he was getting early (it was a new movie), so they could have something "new" to watch. Then Kai and Nana headed back outside to play some more in the snow.....here's a few pics!
