Wow!

Sunday evening we had the year end wrap up to our couples Bible Study. So we went over to the Reilly's and had a BBQ! Capt. Laurie had baked a special cake for the boys with gummy bears. We just sat down at the table for dinner, and I could see Kai was chewing something. I said what do you have in your mouth? He opens up and I see he's eating a gummy bear! He had been out in the kitchen stealing them off the cake!

We ate dinner and then Capt. Laurie brought in the desserts. She was dishing out the cakes and as she was cutting the last piece for her, CJ exclaims, "Look at the size of that piece of cake!" We all chuckled! It really wasn't that big! hahahaha

Before and after dinner Kai spent the time swiffering Capt. Laurie's floor! Apparently he just needs a swiffer for Christmas this year.

Before we went over to the Reilly's we drove to Woodstock to check out the Toy Show because I had seen that they were going to have a lot of Movie Cars cars that we hadn't see or could get. So I told CJ he could pick one. I fully expected him to pick Frank the Combine, but he got his mind set on The King's Mack Truck. Anyway I let him pick the Mack Truck and while he was off with daddy, I picked up another Frank (Kai picked Frank) cause I figured there would be 'fights' when we got home. When we got home I gave CJ the extra Frank, he puts his arms around me, hugs me tight, and says,

"MOMMY YOU'RE THE BEST MOMMY IN THE WHOLE WORLD!"

Now if only I could get that in writing for future reference! :-)
