My Job is Done Here!

This morning we were getting out of the van and walking across the parking lot to day care. Kai took off and ran across the parking lot. We get to the door of the day care and the conversation went like this:

CJ: "Kai, that was very dangerous, you shouldn't run across the parking lot like that. If there was a car coming around that corner you would've been smucked!"

Yep, I couldn't have said it better myself! :-)

For the last few days CJ has had a rash all over his body. I told him I wanted the day care staff to take a look at it to see if they think it's an allergic reaction to something or whatever. I informed CJ I was going to get Ingrid to look at it on the way to day care, he was quiet for a while and then says, "Mommy, I know why I have the rash! " I said, "Why CJ?" He said, "It's only because I've had too many hot dogs lately!" :-)
