Kai'isms....

The other day Kai was sitting in the potty and he looks at me and says, "Mommy when I go to bed I'm not in my bed saying poopyhead, penis, bum bum. I don't say those words when I go to bed." To which I replied, "that's good Kai." To which he then said, "No, I don't say poopyhead, bum bum, I don't say those words at all." Yeah, no one was talking about this so I think this was his version of a confessional! :-)

We went over to Laurie and Don's for New Years and had a "early" New Years Eve party with them and their kids. They have a kitty and Kai has decided that he wants a kitty. Yesterday morning as I was driving them to day care Kai pipes up and says, "Mommy, when Oscar dies we can get a kitty." To which I respond, "No we can't, Mommy is allergic to kitties." Kai then says, "I can get my own house then." Sure, move out just so you can have a cat! :-)


My kids have never had problems going to bed, problems sleeping through the night (Kai) but not a problem going to bed. Kai has decided that he doesn't want to go to bed. So for the past few nights he's been creating quite the scene when it's bedtime. I typically put him in his room and let him cry it out....but these are some of the things he is saying to try and get me to come back in the room (his little game).....
"Mommy, I've puked"

"Mommy, I'm scared"
"Mommy, I need a kleenex"
"Mommy, I'm sick"
"Mommy, I need a tissue"
"Mommy, MOMMY"
Some of them are funny now, but not so funny when you are sitting outside the door listening! :-)


CJ Story
Sunday I decided that I was going to take the day off and not go to church. So CJ came down the stairs Sunday morning and looked at Nana and said, "We aren't going to church today. Mommy says we are never going back!" hahahaha
