Psst....Santa!

Last night I took CJ to Westmount Mall because I needed to get him new snow pants. The mall was extremely quiet and as we walked by Santa was all alone. I said to CJ do you want to go talk to him? So CJ went up and sat beside him and the conversation went a little like this:

Santa: "What's your name?"

CJ: "CJ"

Santa: "What do you want for Christmas?"
CJ: "I already told you!"

Santa: "I'm sorry, I forgot to write it down, there's lots of kids, can you tell me again?"

CJ: "I want a pizza flipper and a marble works like Nathan has."

Santa: "I can't promise but I will do my best."

Santa: "Are you the one who left me cookies and milk last year?"

CJ: "Yep, that was me."

Santa: "They were really good, thanks. Did you know Rudolph likes carrots?"

CJ: "No, he does?"
Santa: "Yep, maybe Rudolph could have a carrot this year."
CJ: "Mommy, can we leave Rudolph a carrot?"
Mommy: "Sure, we can do that."
CJ leans over and whispers something in Santa's ear

Santa: "I'll see what I can do."

Santa offers CJ a Candy Cane

CJ: "I don't like those, thanks."

Santa: "Do you have a brother you could give it to?"

CJ: "He doesn't like them either."

Santa: "How about mommy then?"

CJ: "Mommy, do you like these?"

Mommy: "Sure"

CJ: "Have a safe trip on Christmas Santa. I'll see you later!"

I think my favourite part of the whole visit was CJ leaning into Santa and whispering something in his ear, it was really cute and would've made a great picture. They were just sitting there having a grand old conversation....
