Thanksgiving Weekend! Spent at Jackson's Point

So our friend, Laurie, invited us to go with them and two other couples to Jackson's Point for Thanksgiving Weekend! We gladly said yes and had a great time. It's amazing what you can "cook" for meals with only a hot plate and a microwave. No we didn't get to have any turkey this year, but we did have a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. As you can see from the pictures, the kids really enjoyed themselves too!

We had BEAUTIFUL weather...it was actually really warm! CJ and Hailey had a little time while their younger siblings were napping in the afternoon and they spent the time on the beach. We put their rubber boots on them thinking that would be sufficient...but we didn't expect them to get completely in the water - well they did! They were soaked almost from head to toe! But they loved every minute of it!

Not only did we spend some time on the beach but we also spent a little time riding our bikes. This is always a enjoyable time.....

Happy Thanksgiving!

On Sunday night we had a campfire and then headed back to the Toth's for games...Sunday after supper we (as a family) went around the table and we were to say what we were thankful for....we all said our bit and then we got to CJ, he finished what he was thankful for by ending it with, "I'm thankful for this lovely dinner!" I definately laughed out loud, it was weiners and fries done in the micro! Just how lovely can that be? :-)
