Tonight was the first night that the boys have gone out trick or treating! In the past they've been happy to stand on the step and GIVE candy to the kids saying Happy Halloween. They were pretty excited to think that they were going out, Kai didn't quite have the concept of what was going to happen!
After we went to the first house and got their first candy, Kai looked up at me and said, "Mommy, they gave me candy!" I said, "I know Kai, that's how it works!" He's like, "Can we go to another house?" It was very funny! He quickly figured out the concept and was quite thrilled with this new concept! :-)
Not related to Halloween, but a funny story on the way home tonight. We were in the van driving and Kai was trying to tell me something. He couldn't quite get it out, so he finally said, "Oh, I don't know what I'm trying to say!" Again another chuckle by me! :-)

Yes, Nana had to stand on the step tonight and hand out candy...till the two trickers got home with their loot!
Way to go boys!...Mommy & Daddy too!
