Last Friday night I went for a walk with CJ around the block. When we do this I take the opportunity to practise our phone number, street address, saying some French numbers (by reading the numbers on the houses), etc.
So this past Friday I looked at CJ and said, "comment allez-vous ?" and then I said, "That's how are you? in French." And then I said, "Je suis bon." And I explained to him that that says, "I'm fine" We began working on a few numbers, etc.
Then CJ looks at me and says, "vous deux suis suidn sdoits" and he stops and looks at me and says, "That's leave me alone in French!" Obviously he was making up words but I literally lost it and starting laughing. I'm thinking I'm glad the first phrase Madme taught you was leave me alone in French! :-)
I have to say that CJ had another great morning with being dropped off at the before school program, no issues at all. He also was fine coming home on the bus the other day so that doesn't seem to be an issue either now. And I'm afraid to type this or even say it out loud, but so far this year he also hasn't had any potty accidents. I was waiting for the potty issues to start back up, cause last year he had an accident a day for like the first four months! But so far so good! Whew!!

Hmmm, I'm surprised that Darcy hasn't learned "leave me alone" yet. Too funny!
