So the other day CJ and I were looking at pictures of twin baby boys that were recently adopted. He asked who's babies they were. I explained that the boys were adopted, like he was adopted. He looks at me and says, "They were born in her heart!" I was a little bit taken back and thought what a wonderful way to look at adoption. So I looked at him and said, "Yes, just like you were born in my heart." I hope that we help the boys understand the whole adoption process and help them realize that we couldn't love them more even if they didn't grow in my belly! We always talk openly about the adoption with the kids (even though they don't truly understand at this point)...but yes CJ you were born in my Heart! And that is where you will forever stay!
