Mommy-2 Kai-0

Last week I blogged about Kai asking for a Diaper. Well it happened again tonight! The first time he asked I said no, you can use the toilet. He finally said, "I go toilet then." And we went running up stairs. He sat for a second, jumped down and started to cry asking for a diaper. I just sat on the bathroom floor as he wandered around (I was just hoping and praying that he didn't pee on the carpet in the hallway!) :-) After a few minutes he came back to the bathroom and climbed up on the toilet himself and boy did he pee!! He must have really had to go....after he was done we went across to mommy's room and he got a "board" as Kai calls it (it was actually a reward)!

A little later we were watching TV and Kai again looked at me and said, " I have a diaper?" I said, no but you can use the toilet. After a few minutes he goes running upstairs saying, "I use the toilet." So I went running up behind him and yep, you guessed it, he peed again - ON THE TOILET! After this time, I asked him if he wanted to put on his pj's cause it was almost bedtime but he said no, he wanted his underwear again.

Some of you may not be excited about peeing twice but I sure am! You see I also found out from the staff today at day care that no only is he peeing there but he's also pooing! He's dry during nap time and everything. The staff was like, he's a dream to train! I started to laugh, cause up until today he had yet to use the toilet at home. Maybe we are on to something now! Let's just hope!
