Fair Haven - Day 3

Last night Greg gave me some "mommy" time and I went to the Fair Haven Presents, which was a concert by Geoff Moore. You have to understand that Greg is a pretty big Geoff Moore fan and he gave up going to the concert to bath the boys and put them to bed for me so that I could go and enjoy myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and got Greg and couple of autographed CD's afterwards, I also ran back to the cottage and got Greg to go back before Geoff Moore left and Greg was able to talk to him and get his picture with him.

This is Greg after he got to meet Geoff Moore last night, trying to stop from getting bit the by the bugs! I thought it was funny!

Today we spent some time on the beach. This afternoon was actually the sandcastle building "competition." We didn't participate in that but we did have fun just diggin' in the dirt!

This is Kai having a temper tantrum in the field because he wanted to go for a ride on the boat. The boat was a canoe! A CANOE!!! Can you imagine trying to get him to stay seated so that the thing didn't trip over? So this is what he did, he hid behind he pole because he didn't want me to take his picture....I think it worked, I can barely see him! :-)

This is Kai's idea of going to the pool! Daddy gets in and he sits on the sidelines...too funny!

The way to finish the day....bath, then devotions with daddy on the bed. They were both asleep quite quickly after this.

So as you can see from the pictures we are having a wonderful time! Lots to do and keep us occupied. During chapel time this morning while the kids are at program, Greg and I took the time to walk along the locks and sit at the waterfront just enjoying some quiet time together. We've also met some really nice people, and people that have been coming here for 30 years or more. I even took in the Ladies "Tea" this afternoon! I didn't use a china cup though, good thing cause I knocked the table and sent the other ladies tea a spillin!

On a completely different note, Kai has been in underwear the whole time he's been with us (only in a pull-up at program and during bedtime) and he's only had one accident so far. Which I think is great, considering up until last week he wouldn't use the potty for me! And he's telling me he needs to go potty, I'm not making him go......
