Ouch...

I get a phone call from School Board, I first thought it was Greg checking in, but then I realized that it was CJ's school calling (by the way, I could hear him screaming in the background).....He had apparently fallen and he wouldn't let them look at him and he had been screaming for quite some time. Anyway, I immediately left work and headed out quickly. Once I got to school he was calmed down and cleaned up, however, we assumed he had just bit his lip when he fell.

So I took him home and we were hanging out when I realized his tongue was red, his lip had stopped bleeding so it wasn't from that. I asked him to stick out his tongue, and part way back he had a huge gash in it. I didn't know what to do for that, obviously concerned about infection more than anything. So him and I headed off to the family doctor. He has to gurgle some stuff to help keep the infection away (obviously that was the doctor's concern as well), but try and show a four year old how to gurgle and explain to him that he's not to swallow this "medicine!"

He was apparently out of sorts all day as well, crying this morning at school, etc. He never really did "come around" after we got back home, I'm hoping he's not getting sick.
