One night last week when we got home poppy had a new shirt and belt on the stool and Kai wanted to wear it...here's some pics from that.....
Kai was in underwear each morning last week at day care....he did a lot of peeing in his pants but never once in the toilet. I'm not sure what we are going to do with him. If you talk about the whole potty thing he tells you the right stuff but he either doesn't know what the "feeling" is when he's going or he is just simply choosing not to go. He also doesn't seem to be bothered to be wet in his pants either......
I went with CJ on his field trip on Friday to the Children's Museum....two JK/SK classes = a LOT of noise! :-) I had a good time but was defiantly ready for a nap!!! After the field trip I went and enrolled CJ in French Immersion...we'll see how that goes.
Sunday afternoon we decided to take the boys bowling...CJ has been before but this was Kai's first time. We bowled a game and you'll see by the scores at the end that Kai did pretty good....we then had sandwiches and grapes and once we were done those headed to DQ and had some ice cream!
We were sitting at the table yesterday at lunch time and we were eating. Kai was trying to say something and CJ was "butting" in....Kai looks at him, puts his hand up and says, "CJ, it's my turn to talk!" I have to say I laughed quite a bit.....
Oh yeah, CJ was at the ear specialist this morning and everything with him is great. He was able to hear the audiologist at zero decibels.......so apparently he's just choosing not to listen! :-) His tubes are in place and are clear, so we don't have to take him back to the ear specialist again until September.....

Well that's good news about CJ's ears. It would be rough to have them both going through it all again. Choosing not to listen seems to be a common problem at this age! We seem to have a problem with it at our house too.
I hope he enjoys the French immersion. We can compare notes next year once they're both in the thick of things.
