Yesterday CJ couldn't wait for me to get home! He was soooooooooo excited! You see he was dry ALL day at day care and knew he was getting a new "movie cars" car when he got home! The teacher (I love her) has also started a CJ Reward Book for him. He gets a sticker from her if he's dry in the morning, a sticker if he's dry at lunch and a sticker if he's dry at 2:30 p.m. Plus she also made a note that he has done lots of "flushes" with her and it's loud but he's a big boy! So I'm wondering if the noise of the toilet it what has been bothering him.....anyway, yesterday we had a successful day and that makes me very pleased and hope it a sign of days to come. Again, I just wanted to say how much I like his teacher, she is taking the time to work with him and helping him get back on track, she technically didn't have to do that and let me say, this parent REALLY appreciates it!

Ok, so you've figured out that's the pleased part of my post....what's the sad? Well, I've known for a little while that Kai is moving up to Preschool. At their day care they have two buildings, a Infant/Toddler building and a Preschool building. The last week or so I've been picking Kai up in the Preschool yard and it hasn't really hit me. This morning was the first morning I've had to drop him off in the Preschool building. Let me say, that's a whole other ballgame! That was the weirdest feeling...I don't even think it had as much affect on me last year when CJ moved over to the Preschool building. Kai on the other hand, didn't affect him at all. He went to the washroom with me and CJ, washed his hands, walked into the room, made himself quite at home, and in fact already had a little girl rushing up to give him a picture she just drew for him! *tear* my baby is now a preschooler!

Oh, I forgot to mention, Kai was in the preschool building yesterday (his first day, the staff took him over from the toddler building), his first day there and he sat on the toilet twice! Yep, all this time we've been working on getting him to sit. Apparently we just needed to move him to the Preschool program!
