Happy Thanksgiving...

Last night I told CJ we were going to have Thanksgiving with Shawna tomorrow. The conversation went a little like this:

CJ: "In Kitchener?"
Me: "Yes, in Kitchener."
CJ: "Is Uncle John going to be there?"
Me: "Yes, Uncle John will be therefor a little while."
CJ: "Oh, (big exasperated sigh), he's going to be so excited and pleased to see me, especially when I run up and give him a big hug!"

So we spent the afternoon with a small contingent of my side of the family in Kitchener having turkey and all the good stuff that goes along with it. Also joining us was my Aunt and Uncle from Newfie and my cousin from TO. Anyway, my cousin Lisa has two boys - their names are James and Kai.

So we were downstairs and someone called out to Kai, to which both Kai's looked. And someone made a comment about the two Kai's. To which CJ pops up and says, "Where's the other CJ?" To which I replied, "No CJ, the other one is James, you're Cypress James and he's just James. So only part of your name is the same." To which CJ says, "Oh, so where's The James?" :-)

Anyway, thank you family for a wonderful afternoon and lots of reasons to give thanks...pictures will follow (I didn't have my camera cause I knew Shawna would!) :-)

Tomorrow we are off to Greg's side for some Thanksgiving in Simcoe! The song On the Road Again comes to mind!!!

Yes, it was good to be together. It's too bad that miles seperate us and we can't do this more often. It was great for me to be there but I missed having my best half with me :-(! Hopeful next time. Love you all.
