We were off to Frankenmuth this past weekend for Greg's cousins wedding (I think this is the first some some of the cousins have even met)....anyway, first there was a stop at Bronner's (where too much money was spent)....here's some of the pics.....
The boys stayed home and were cared for by Doug and Linda, with assistance from Steven and Jen! Thanks guys, from all accounts from the boys it sounds like they had a great time!
Last night when we were putting CJ to bed, he had his "bible" and he wanted to read about Mrs. Moses. So Greg told him the story and about how they had a baby and Greg asked what the baby's name was and CJ replied, "Jesus!" Ok, so we've got a bit of work to do! :-)
One thing CJ did say to Linda while we were away was that Oscar was lonely because mommy and daddy were gone. I was told it was interesting to note how care-free Kai was (didn't really notice that we were missing in action), but also how unsure CJ was and it was interesting that he put it in terms of Oscar being lonely!
We're home now and I'm back to work and the boys are off to preschool. Kai is loving preschool, in the morning he can't wait for me to leave and in fact stands at the door and says, "You have to go now mommy!"
When I was taking the boys in this morning, the conversation went like this:
Mommy: "CJ, we need to go to the washroom."
Kai: "I come too?"
Mommy: "Sure"
CJ: "Is Kai concentrating now?"
Mommy: "No, Kai isn't potty training yet!"

I love Frankenmouth. I haven't been there in years though. Did you do any shopping while you were there?
Of course we did shopping! We went early before the wedding so that we could "fit" some shopping in! Greg was thrilled! hehehehe
