Funny Stories

FRIDAY
CJ was off to his second day of school, but it was his first day at this before and after school program. Anyway, later in the morning I called to check to see how he made out and I was informed that when they offered him a snack (at the before school program), his response was, "No, thank you, I have stuff here in my lunch bag." Which I might add was for his lunch at school...... :-)

SATURDAY
Tasha, Ryan, and Gabe came over for a visit....nothing unusual about that. However, when they were leaving we were standing in the doorway saying good-bye and when we closed the door, CJ looked at us and said, "That was a good day!"

SUNDAY
Kai & CJ were their usual active selves during church. You never know that they are listening to any one talking etc. However, Daddy while leading Worship time...said "Jesus is here". etc... To which Kai suddenly turns to Nana, and throws his arms in the air in his usual excited way and says..."oh, Jesus is here....we're going to see Jesus!" Then of course CJ also listening in the 'wings'...says to Kai, "No, we're not going to see Jesus, we are going to see the Wiggles!" (The little old ladies in the back row got a good laugh at that!) Of course at that point Kai was having no part of that...we were going to see Jesus, because Daddy said "Jesus was here!"

Bill was at church on Sunday so that meant after the meeting CJ went hand in hand with Bill to his truck. However, this time Kai also followed! Kai was sitting in Kathy's seat with his seat belt on and CJ was sitting in Bill's lap getting ready to "drive." I said, "I'll be right back boys." To which CJ yells out, "Don't hurry mommy!"
