I Eat It All!

Yesterday CJ had a rough day at day care with not listening and saying "bad words" (calling people poopyhead, where he gets it I'm not sure)....anyway because of that he didn't get to go to Home Depot with Nana, Poppy, Aunt Don, Kai and Mommy, instead he stayed home with daddy. Anyway, we went to Home Depot, then had a stop at Costco. Which prompted an impromptu stop at McDonald's for an ice cream.

My plan for the impromptu stop was so that Aunt Don would stop talking about the fiasco we had a Dairy Queen a couple of nights before that. (The ice cream was sooooo soft before they could get it to us it would fall of the cone). Anyway, McDonald's ice cream it was.

One for me, one for Aunt Don, one for poppy, and one for Nana and Kai to share. Kai took it and licked it, licked it some more, then we traded. After we traded back and forth a few times he was down to the cone and we began our "journey" back home. I made the comment that he needed to finish it before we get home so CJ doesn't see it.

As we were coming up around the corner getting close to home, Kai pipes up and says, "I ate it all. I tell CJ I ate it all?" To which we all just chuckled, I guess there's no secrets anymore! :-)


Tonight after everyone was in bed settled....Aunt Don and I made a trip to McDonald's for another ice cream run. This time we were to bring back cones for Nana and Poppy....we did this, however, it was soooo hot today that before we got home the cones had started to melt. So by the time we got home I think Aunt Don and I had eaten half of Nana and Poppy's cones....sorry, it couldn't be helped! :-)


I should also mention that there were a couple of people "jealous" because I wasn't taking any pictures of them working, therefore, no pictures, meant that they wouldn't show up on the blog. Uncle John has made it on the blog working and Nana and Aunt Don working/cleaning/sorting hasn't made it on here....sorry, give Kai a broom to help you and you might make it on! :-)
