Ok, so I forgot this happened on Sunday until last night when I was getting a coffee and boston cream for nana and poppy because they babysat. Anyway, the story goes a little something like this:
Church is happening all around us, I think someone was talking because it was during a "quieter" time, CJ looks at me and says, "Mommy, I would like a boston cream." I said, "what?" CJ says, "Mommy, I would like a boston cream."
Now, I must explain, the boys do not have donuts on a regular basis in fact they typically only get a timbit and that is only a treat. But then this morning, the conversation went a little like this:
We are driving down the street headed to day care, we pass and Tim's and CJ says, "Mommy, do you need to buy timbits?" To which I chuckled and said, "No, CJ mommy doesn't need to buy any timbits." His response, "Oh."
On another note, CJ was at big boy school this morning. His school runs a program where the parents and 3 yr olds go for activities, etc. in order to prepare them for school. Yep, CJ is headed to school in September. He liked going to each of the stations to get his stickers, etc. but didn't participate in the activity they had for the kids as a group, he only wanted to stay with me. Oh well, I guess that's why they run these programs so the kids can "warm" up to the idea of school. Other than that, it was a great experience and I think overall he enjoyed himself.
