So CJ had his follow-up appointment yesterday with the specialist. His hearing has greatly improved. They asked if I've noticed a difference with his speech, I"m like, not really, he always had great speech.
There was one issue, and that is that the tube in his right ear is blocked. The left side is working properly. CJ is now on ear drops, the doctor said that these drops clear the blockage in half the cases. I asked what happens if it doesn't clear, to which the doctor simply replied, "I'll see him in three months." So I'm not sure if the blockage doesn't clear if that means another quick surgery or what. Hopefully in this case the drops will clear the blockage.
