Going to Church

Yesterday afternoon CJ was downstairs visiting Nana and Poppy. I was gone to the day care to pick up Kai. (CJ had to stay home for a few days because he is susceptible to infection, certainly not because he is showing any signs of having surgery....I'm beginning to question if they actually did anything! Just kidding! :-) )

Anway, CJ was downstairs and he was riding on the rocking horse and he got off and picked up a book, put it under his arm and said, "I'm taking my Bible and going to church." And climbed back up on the rocking horse.

A Kai story - the day care has lice right now (luckily our household hasn't gotten it yet)....so he has seen the staff doing a lot of checking of heads in the past week. Kai was sitting on the couch and I was sitting on the floor in front of him playing and then all of a sudden he started pulling at my hair, very slowly and picking up very small sections. I looked at Nana and said, "I believe he is checking for nits!" To which Kai replies, "Yes, nits." Of course we all laughed.

Those are hilarious stories.

The other morning I was reading my Bible while Darcy and I were having breakfast. She looked over at me and said "Mommy, you do your Bible now?" I was so excited!
