Yesterday began like any other day. I was dropping the boys off at day care and Kai happened to have his soother in his mouth. (He tends to have it quite a bit at home and I thought he only had it at day care for naps). So the staff said to me, "Oh, where did Kai's soother go? I just saw it." I said, "I just put it in my pocket because this is his home one, he has one here already for naps." To which she says, "He does?" I reply, "Yes, he does. Does he not use his soother here for nap time?" To which the staff replies, "No, haven't seen him use a soother at all."
So later that day I called the other staff at day care to inquire about the soother mystery. Apparently, the infant room day care staff weaned Kai off the soother for nap time back in July. I had no idea and at home Kai was/is getting the soother quite a bit. And apparently he has no problem at all sleeping without it, at home if he doesn't have it, he won't sleep. So as you can see the soother has been pulled over our eyes! He is a little sneak! :-)

Dare...I...say, 'I told you so'!
so when are you pulling it out of his mouth ... now that he's pulled it over your eyes!
I always told you he was a cheeky one...you can tell by that sheepish little grin. Watch out Kai, mummy's on to your cunning plan!
Dear God,
'Make me a good boy and please help me with my next plan, so that I won't get caught.' Amen
