Sunday Happenings....

I forgot all the funny things CJ did at church this past Sunday when I posted the other day. So here they are:

We get to church and Ann Landers sits in front of us and she always has books, crayons, stickers, cookies, etc. for the boys. So CJ informs me he wants to sit with her. So I said fine. He's sitting with her and then it is time for the offering, Ann goes up with the collection plates (which by the way contained two of CJ's trucks) to take up the offering. When CJ realizes she's gone, he yells, "Come back here Ann." Loud enough that the people in the band on the other side of the church hears him.

Second item - it was children's time. CJ goes up for the story and Mrs is there with a picture of a soldier and she asks the kids who this is, CJ turns around and says, "Diego." She says, "I don't know who Diego is, but I'm pretty sure this isn't him. Any other ideas?" Again, CJ turns around and says, "Daddy!"

Third item - I had taken the kids to the nursery and they were singing the last song, so I said to the boys, lets go find Uncle John and Poppy. CJ said, "And daddy." I said, "yes, daddy is in there too." Not thinking anything else about it. We head out the door and CJ gets away from me, I think he is going to run to our seats where Uncle John is. NOPE, he takes off and runs right up the stairs on the platform, behind the oficer and right over to the band where daddy was. He stands there while the band finishes playing the rest of the song!

Last night Poppy was on the floor playing with CJ. A car had gotten away from them and they were discussing who was going to go get it. Poppy finally concedes and says he'll go get it, CJ jumps up and says, "No, I'll get it. I was joking poppy."
