Down for the Count

I was away on the weekend at the DYC (Divisional Youth Chorus) weekend, but I took Friday off to spend the day with the boys. Below I'll post some of the pictures....you can see the boys have already figured out how to wrestle! :-)

This one is for you Aunt Ine
(this is the outfit you bought him last summer)

Because I was away, Daddy had the pleasure of spending the whole weekend with the boys. He got up Saturday morning and took the boys shopping, they apparently built their own bear. Then they had a birthday party to go to - Happy 1st Birthday Katie! She had all boys at her party, way to go girl! :-)

Sunday morning I called to check in, and asked to speak with the boys. CJ was having no part of talking to me, Kai said "Hello mommy." But when daddy asked CJ if he would like to talk to Tasha, I could hear him in the background say, "Yes, I"m coming." And he came running and had a big ol' conversation with Tasha!

Sunday afternoon when I got home, the boys had just gotten up from their nap. I gave them both a hug and a kiss. CJ just sat there with a grin, I think he was happy I was home. Kai, decided to have a little temper tantrum, I guess he was mad I was gone. So I picked him up and gave him a hug, etc. he then sat on my knee, turned, looked at me, and hit me in the face. I guess that was his way of telling me he didn't like me leaving. (By the way, he did get in trouble for hitting me.)

Anyway, I'm signing off now....was trying to add a few other pictures and it's not working so I'm getting frustrated. I hope you are enjoying the blog process and please leave comments - we LOVE comments! :-) It lets us know you are keeping up to date on what we are up to!

We're loving the blog loads and we'll try comment more! Tasha was very excited to tell me about her conversation with CJ while she was at camp with you!
Maybe the boys will teach our little one to wrestle and we can form our own World Children's Wrestling Federation (WCWF). I think we'll name our bambino, The British Bullfrog!

Adorable boys you have! CJ looks so much like Syrus. Wrestling is a boys activity..that is Brock and Syrus's favourite pastime and quite often have to put a stop to it before someone gets hurt. It gets rougher as they get older. Can't wait to get together with you and your family

While Nick is away, Darcy is refusing to talk to him on the phone too. It's been pretty hard on him. He can definitely feel your pain!

The pictures are hilarious.
