This is a good party!

Sunday afternoon Greg put the boys down for their nap just after 12. It was 2:15 and I could still hear CJ up in his room, so I thought no point in him going to sleep now, we are heading out to Katie's birthday party soon. So I went and got him. Well, did he get the surprise of his life. I opened his bedroom door and he was standing on Kai's bed, behind the blind looking out the window. I said, "what are you doing?" He immediately sat down and didn't say a word. I then noticed that he had a few things off the dresser and I couldn't find his bear with his name on it. I said, "where's the bear?" No response. So I began looking through the bed clothes, in the drawers and found the bear in one of the drawers in his mates bed. I then looked in his bed again and found a ball from the wall. Now, these balls are wooden, he had taken it off the hook and apparently thought it might be fun to sleep with. Needless to say he had quite the time while we thought he was sleeping!

After Kai woke from his nap we went to Katie's birthday party. Not too much funny happened, except for a comment that CJ made (big surprise there). We had supper and the kids were playing, etc. and then it was time for cake. CJ of course came running up for his piece. He sat and devoured it pretty quickly. And then when he was done, he stood up and announced, "this was a good party!"

By the way, CJ also asked to go potty twice while at the party! Way to go CJ! :-)
