Advice?

Anyone have any suggestions on how and when to completely remove Kai's bottle? He currently only gets a bottle at bedtime. I'm still giving him this bottle because he has decided that he doesn't like milk, so I figure at least this way he is getting formula/milk combination at least once a day (yes, he will only drink milk with formula mixed in it as well). I've tried every type of sippy cup known to man and he won't drink out of it, if the cup has milk in it! Go figure.....if anyone has any suggestions I'm open!

I say give 'em Chocolate! ... He won't want the bottle after that ... after all ... Chocolate has some traces of calcium doesn't it??

Funny enough, he will drink chocolate milk occasionally....but he's not really that consistant with drinking that either!

I would have to agree with Shawna...great cousins must think alike!

Great? Well, at least our cousins! :-)

How old is he? I would put formula in the sippy cup and gradually add milk making it more milk every few days until it is all milk.

Maybe put milk in the bottle and formula in the cup until he prefers the cup.

Every child is different. I tried to get rid of bottles totally between 12 and 15 months.

p.s. thanks for your condolences

He is 20 months old. I've tried earlier to switch him to straight milk and get rid of the bottle but he drank the milk for about a week and then flat out refused to drink milk. He'll drink anything else out of a sippy cup but as soon as I put in milk, he practically throws it back at me. I've been trying chocolate milk this weekend and he will drink that. I've also been giving him bits of milk in a sippy cup and he will drink a little so I think I'll just keep pushing milk!
