Not Listening

I was putting CJ to bed last night when he says to me, "I not go to preschool tomorrow." I said, "Why? Did you not have a good day today?" He said, "No, I not go to preschool tomorrow. I wasn't listening."

I later found out that he at one point in the afternoon was removed from the activity and was sitting on the floor beside the wall, when the staff came over to talk to him he was making a face at her and she said, "Ok, I'll come back to talk to you when you are ready to listen."

P.S. They don't suspend from day care for not listening! :-)
