So last night CJ comes over with their little Bible (from Shawka and Scott) and says, "Mommy, want to read with me." I said, "sure." So he opens the book to a page and starts to read, "Jesus the Lord," then the rest I couldn't understand. Thought it was cute!
Saturday I made the trip to Ikea with my friend Tracy. We took Kai with us and left CJ at home with daddy. While we were there Kai spotted an Elephant. He grabbed it and said, "Elly." He wouldn't let it go throughout the rest of our trip. So I purchased it for him. Since then "Elly" has been everywhere with him, to bed, to the highchair, etc. You must understand, Kai isn't the type of person that he likes to cuddle with things, so this is the first thing he's actually carried to bed and cuddled with. CJ on the other hand sleeps with pretty much everything! :-)

Isn't it amazing that he's already figured out what the Bible is all about? That's so cool. Last night I had on an old t-shirt from youth councils. It's got a little fish holding a Bible and Darcy pointed at it and said "There's your Bible!" I loved it!
I saw those elephants at Ikea last week too. They were very huggable. I also liked the giraffe's. Darcy's got a jungle room so it was very hard not to buy them all!
